Dog Poo : Blackus Gravelus

Now I hear you say, will the real Martian Beagle please step forward.

On Pacific Islands this is also known as desperadus foodus. Sun ripened and left to curl and darken in the elements, blackus gravelus is a little like a bag of rice with small bits of stone or gravel included so watch your teeth.

This is a particularly good example and I will be following its progress as Melbourne heads into the height of summer. I have a hunch how it will develop but well, I'll keep you up to date.
