Dog Poo: Blackus Grassus Flyeatus

Dog Poo: Blackus Grassus Flyeatus

Part of the Blackus family, grassus flyeatus generally is short lived. Most likely due to the dietry habits of the dog and dog owner in question this fellow is a favourite of the flies.

You may just make out the fly in the top left hand corner of the poo. Unfortunately I had disturbed the little guy during lunch when I arrived and had to settle in before he came back.

I felt that to catch grassus flyeatus in action would be a fine addition to the collection.

Other names: England - Romanus Prunus / New Zealand - Isit edibilis
